MY FAV BOOK FROM CHILDHOOD

Manic Magee by Jerry Spinelli

My favorite book from my childhood is the first chapter book i finished reading. This book is about a city that is divided into to different sides[one side that all the white people live at,the other side only african americans lived]. Manic Magee Parents died in a car accident so he was in the care of a foster family. He did not fit in at school or even at home so one day he ran away. He had many adventures on one of those of he had to cross the border to the black side because bullys were chasing him. There he meet a black girl that her family toke him in. The family accepted him they toke him to the doctor feed him and bought him clothes. But unfortunalty every one outside the house hated him. So he thought of a plan to make him more popular. There was a famous not that through years of stroms had made extremly tough to untie he untied it. But then he ran away seeing that he had caused that family to much trouble. The book continues on like that meeting new people and leaving old ones behind.
